The Thing movie

An American scientific expedition to the frozen regions of Antarctica is disrupted by a group of seemingly deranged Norwegians who are chasing a dog and then start shooting at it. A helicopter follows the wounded dog's trail for reasons that remain unexplained. That night, the dog transforms into a monstrous creature, attacking other dogs in their kennel and then turning on members of the research team. The group soon realizes they are dealing with an alien entity capable of overtaking and controlling other bodies, but they have no idea who among them has already been infected.
